Carbon Steel (CS)

Multiway piston valve A105

DN : 3"x3"x3"x3"
Class : 300 Lbs
Grade : A105

Less costly than stainless steels and a good mechanical strength, carbon steels are used for general applications where there are no special requirements.
There are grades for use in both high and low temperature applications.
Carbon steels have a limited resistance to corrosion that must be taken into account in the design (calculation of thicknesses). Valves made from this material are typically painted to withstand their external environment.
The type of environment can lead to the selection of particular paintings often expensive or complex to implement.
